A retrospective study of intrauterine fetal demise in a tertiary care center

Background: Intra uterine foetal death is an emotional distress for mother, her family and the obstetrician also. Proper planning, seeking antenatal services reduces this. Objectives of current study were to determine incidence rate intrauterine evaluate maternal factors responsible death. Methods: This retrospective observational was conducted in a tertiary care hospital from November 2022 April 2022. The data collected previous records 60 IUFD cases with 1576 births. Age, parity, gestational age, aetiology studied. Results: most common cause pre-eclampsia eclampsia (18.33%) followed by anaemia (11.67%). IUGR (6.67%), placental previa (8.33%). Conclusions: In this study, 38.1/1000 live To prevent IUFDs, all have be booked better period management any complications.
